Need for infection control is the most important thing of the hour. With the mutations in bacteria and virus new strains are evolving. In light of that, we are very strict in our sterilization protocol. This is how we prevent cross contamination at our center in Rajahmundry: We use disposable gloves, disposable syringes and disposable mouth masks . For every patient we use a new disposable chair cover, patient will be provided with anew set of disposable foot covers, disposable drapes for every appointment Disposable instruments are used wherever possible and needed. The handle of the operatory light , the instrument tray of the dental chair and any place on the dental chair where the doctor or assistant touches during treatment are covered with disposable polythene wraps. All the instruments are properly cleaned with disinfectants, dried and sealed in autoclave indicator pouches before keeping them in an autoclave. We use best in class steam autoclave to sterilize our instruments.
